Is
EmailAutomator available for Mac computers, or just PCs running
Windows?
Right now EmailAutomator is
available only for PCs running Windows 98 or newer. It has been
tested extensively on Windows 98 and Windows XP Professional. If
you are a Mac user with PC emulator software installed, you
might try using it and let me know how it works out for you.
There are small links to your
web site in the messages I send out. What are those there for,
and can they be removed?
We made EmailAutomator
self-promoting (in a style similar to Hotmail email accounts) so
that the cost of developing the software can be supported by
advertising. For all users of our standard software, these links
must remain intact. If you are a serious marketer who doesn't
want our advertising message detracting from your own message,
you can purchase an advertising-free version for only $34.95 and
the messages you send out will not contain a link to our web
site.
When I try opening
EmailAutomator, it says that my registration is not valid. What
should I do?
First of all, you need to make
sure that the email address you are entering as your
registration address is the same as what you put when you
registered on our web site. Misspellings or incorrect entries
are the main cause of this. If that's not the case, then it
means that an email we sent to you bounced back to us and your
license was disabled. Once you fix this problem, you can re-register
here and your software will work again.
Does EmailAutomator hide my
identity from the people I send email to?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! The
software was not developed for spamming purposes. You should
only send email to people who have requested to receive
information from you, or who you have done business with in the
past. EmailAutomator uses its own SMTP component to send mail so
your ISP's mailserver is not used (and they don't know how much
mail you're sending), but the recipient CAN trace the IP address
in the email's headers back to you if they believe you are
spamming them.
Spamming can get you into a lot
of trouble and we highly discourage it. Please follow all spam
laws and properly identify yourself as the sender of the
messages. If we receive complaints about you sending a lot of
mail to people who have no idea who you are or who didn't
request information, we may disable your license to prevent
further complaints.
