Exporting Your List of Subscribers
By
default, there is a rule setup in Email Automator that adds people
to your "mailing list". This is helpful if you want to
run a newsletter. When
someone emails your email address (the one you have setup in your
settings page) with the word "subscribe" in the
subject line, that person gets added to your subscriber list. Likewise,
when a person emails you with the word "unsubscribe"
in the subject line, they are removed from your subscriber
list. So Email
Automator can keep a running list of people who it is okay to
email, people who have specifically asked to receive your
newsletter or be on your mailing list. To
send an email to that list, you can use the "Export Subscribe
Accounts" function in the taskbar to export your list of
email addresses to a text file. You
can then use that text file as your mailing list when you create a
new mailing task. You
want to do this each time you mail to your "subscriber
list" because some people may request to unsubscribe in
between mailings. You want to make sure to do your best not to
email people after they have requested to be un-subscribed from
your list.
If your questions
about this function have not been answered after reviewing this help
page and you are a user or our ad-free version of Email Automator,
then you can watch the
video that shows how to do this task.
If you are not a
user of the ad-free version, click
here to upgrade for only $34.95 (one time). Our ad-free
version does not put the Email Automator signature file link in
your outgoing messages.
